Dr. Cook has practiced in San Diego since 1977 after serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. His optometric education was at the University of Houston. A past president of the San Diego County Optometric Society, Dr. Cook has special interests in contact lenses and the treatment and management of external eye disease. His patients benefit from his unique understanding of LASIK, having undergone the procedure himself. A former glider pilot, Dr. Cook enjoys yoga, astronomy, and spending time with his wife.
